March 25, 2021 – Framatome today announced two Engineers of the Year. These awards honor employees in North America who achieved engineering excellence through notable accomplishments in their profession, excelling in spite of the challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic.

“These annual awards recognize Framatome employees who exemplify a commitment to operational excellence and develop innovative solutions and creative technologies in our industry,” said Gary Mignogna, president and CEO of Framatome in North America. “Embracing the challenges of the coronavirus, our engineers and entire workforce remained committed to creative thinking and innovations that continue to advance our industry.”

Pascal Brocheny and Ryan Melcher were selected as Framatome’s 2021 Engineers of the Year. These two individuals demonstrated operational excellence throughout 2020 and were instrumental in implementing competitive solutions that improve the economics and performance of the nuclear energy industry.
