AREVA Inc. Employees Volunteered More Than 3,000 Hours, Supported More Than 400 Community Organizations

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 3, 2016 – In its 2015 Corporate Citizenship Report released today, AREVA Inc. highlighted a range of corporate and employee community outreach and contributions in North America, including employees’ more than 3,000 volunteer hours.

I’m proud of our company’s and our employees’ contributions to making our communities better places to live and work.”

AREVA encouraged employees to be active volunteers in their communities, and supported more than 400 regional charitable organizations and educational institutions through its Corporate Giving Strategy. The company dedicated its largest contributions to educational outreach focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) initiatives and programs with the goal of helping to develop the future workforce.
