The newly created New Business Europe & Middle East subdivision (NB) leads and manages the development of new markets and strategic opportunities and manages the related first of a kind sale of the Business Unit “Fuel” for this scope in Europe and the Middle East, in coordination with other entities in the Fuel and the Framatome Commercial Excellence sales organization.

Within New Business Europa and Middle East we are looking for a New Business Manager to identify and set up new business ventures in Europe.

The main mission is to lead new business development activities in Europe as art of the New Business Europe and Middle East subdivision: As such, identify new markets, service business, new projects as well as the management of commercial and/or partnership opportunities in their early phases through fist of a kind sale by:

  • Developing new business, creating value for costumer and the Business Unit and pursue these until first of a kind sale
  • Supporting joint ventures, intellectual property licensing agreements, shareholder agreements and other related functions necessary for new business ventures
  • Identifying, analzying and understanding the key problems and needs on stratetic market areas and key accounts
  • Elaborating of market entry and commercial strategy on these markets for the short and long term in line with the Business Unit and Framatome Corporate strategy (including through the establishment of strategic partnerships or subsidiaries where relevant)
  • Assessing the markets, identifying customer needs and tracking market opportunities
  • Contributing to the preparation of new business strategy and plan
  • Helping develop and update of long term strategies for new business Europe
  • Supporting the New Business Director in achieving their missions

Sie sind

  • Master’s degree in engineering, natural sciences or comparable (MBA is a plus)
  • Long-standing experience in business development and sales in Europe on large scale business in the energy sector, preferably nuclear sector
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Fluent in English and at least one other European language, French would be a plus
