Business Liaison Manager F/H

• Job position: CERCA Business Liaison Manager in Japan
• Employer: Framatome Japan KK
• Location: Tokyo, Akasaka (regular trips within Japan and to France
• Job availability: From Dec 2023
• Contract: Local contract, permanent position

Description of the tasks:

– Daily local interface with the customers (regular customers visits, customers intimacy at different level (operations, contract department))

– Support to visits of CERCA staff to Japan (2 to 3 per year)

– Joins and provides support during visits of customers to CERCA in France (Lyon, Paris, Romans-sur-Isère (~4 per year)

– Translation of documents (English <-> Japanese)

–  Arrangement for Export Control

– Arrangement of shipments, in contractual relationship with a transporter

– Arrangement of custom clearance

– Gathering information on local market

Interfaces:

– Customers teams in Japan : JAEA; Kyoto University (Kumatori site), Kindai University…

– CERCA staff in France (Lyon; Romans)

– Other partners in Japan (transportation companies, …) and abroad (US-DOE, Argonne National Lab.)

– Framatome Japan KK staff

– Administrations: MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology), …

Project Management:

• Management of schedule, budget, interfaces, reporting
• Experience in logistics / transportation is a plus
• Nuclear background is a plus

Note: a deep technical knowledge of the CERCA nuclear fuel is not necessary for the position; in any case Framatome provides the necessary trainings to acquire the required basic knowledge on the nuclear fuel.

• Excellent relationship skills to liaise efficiently (face to face meetings, phone, emails, …) with suppliers’ teams, Framatome’s teams (mostly but not exclusively in France) and administrations.
• Team spirit to work in a collaborative way within Framatome (sharepoints, shared OneNote files…)
• Reactivity to cope with potential acceleration phases in the project, requiring fast actions.
• Autonomy within the defined scope of responsibility.

Languages:

• Fluent in Japanese (read / write / speak)
• Fluent in English (read / write / speak)
• Ability to communicate with teams in French is a clear plus
