Managers Assistant and HR representative
EPR Engineering (EPR-E) is a joint venture between EDF and Framatome, an EPCC established in 2018 in charge of the design and the realization of nuclear islands for new projects in France and worldwide.
In particular, EPR-E is responsible for the design and construction of the nuclear island for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project and prepare the design replication and engineering activities for the Sizewell C (SZC) Project.
At HPC we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
For the SZC Project, work on the replication strategy and some early design studies are already underway and being delivered and managed from both France and UK.
For the HPC project, we are currently looking to recruit for the role of Managers Assistant and HR representative for the Site Support Integrated Team.
·Support the head of SST to build the SST resource plan.
·Support the JDO, CMT and COT managers to build and steer their respective resource plans and make sure they are aligned with the wider SST resource plan.
·Set-up a monthly SST HR Committee with SST managers and EPR-E HR manager or business partner.
·Represent the SST team in the relevant Edvance, EDF and Framatome HR committees.
·Liaise with Managers to ensure correct documentation is in place to commence a resourcing process (Job Description/Technical Spec, budget approval)
·Liaise with stakeholders (with Partner or Mother companies) to advertise the requirement
·Monitor and drive applications against the recruitment with stakeholders
·Share applications with the hiring manager to acquire feedback and share feedback with stakeholders
·Assist in the organization of selection methods to determine the best option to fill the requirement
·Liaise with stakeholders to complete the offer process for the resource
·Liaise with the Commercial/Finance team where required to ensure procurement process is satisfied ready for the resource to start
·Liaise with internal company departments to establish and ensure the onboarding process of the resource i.e. vetting, training and IT
·Liaise with Managers on internal changes, ensuring changes go through the appropriate process and HR data is updated accordingly
Training and Development:
·Liaise with wider HR Teams to ensure mandatory trainings are completed on time
·Liaise with Managers to coordinate additional or development training
·Ensure annual reviews are undertaken in line with Mother Company processes and subsequent actions are monitored and delivered etc
Promote MyEDF survey participation, review results, and work with project to identify action plans to stimulate improvements etc
·Produce and monitor data on people related key performance indicators for presentation and discussion with managers to inform strategic actions
To be considered the following qualifications, Experience and Skills are essential :
·Graduated with a Master Degree in HR
·Strong background in a HR Function
·At least one year experience in HR in the UK
·An advanced user of computer software including Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook required; PowerPoint and Visio
·Organised with a keen attention to detail
·An excellent verbal and written communicator
·Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
·Able to manage conflicting priorities
·Flexible with working hours
·Professional and friendly and able to build relationships at all levels of an organisation
·Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
