In the UK we are currently 400 strong and our plans are to grow to 400-500 by 2025 through the development our UK nuclear service offerings.
Due to our continued growth and exposure to the UK Nuclear sector, we are actively recruiting for a number of Quality Inspectors for our Workshop in Avonmouth which specialise in fabrication and welding of Stainless Steel products.
As a Quality Inspector of Framatome Ltd you will support the quality process to ensure the high level of quality standards are maintained and in accordance with the relevant requirements.
The main responsibilities will be:
- To ensure compliance to customer and product specifications through rigorous inspections.
- To carry out visual and dye-penetrant inspection of welds in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures.
- To carry out dimensional inspection of products ensuring compliance to drawing requirements.
- Reporting of all completed inspections in a timely manner.
- Communicate regularly with other departments as well as client.
- Ensure traceability of raw material is maintained throughout manufacturing process.
- Manage surveillance and inspection requirements in line with applicable Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Assist with non-conformance reporting process (NCRs)
You are
To be considered, we require the following technical skills:
- CSWIP Level 2 (3.1) Welding Inspection (essential)
- PCN L2 Dye Pen or CSWIP equivalent (essential)
- PCN L2 RT/Radiographic Interpretation (desirable)
- Previous fabrication/welding experience (desirable)
- Experience with Microsoft Office software for reporting purposes
