Senior Buyer (m/w/d)

Senior Buyer for the handling of purchase requests and placement of purchase orders, conclusion of framework and cooperatoin agreements, mainly complex tasks with high technical expertise, networking in the respective business entity, and main actor in the continuous improvement of purchase requests, clustering, processes and process cost reduction.

• Self-reliant analysis of the global supply market
• Managing of interfaces with internal / external stakeholders
• Selection and handling of suppliers
• Negotiation of prices, contracts, payment terms of complex purchasing requests in alignment with the business entity / process
• Placement of contracts and contract amendments
• Proposal of individual supply chain strategies, e.g. with alternative industrial schemes or other strategic aspects, e.g. make or buy
• Financial and technical analysis of supplier offers together with the responsible project or business entity
• Preparation of cost estimations and presentation for projects
• Preparation and moderation of Sourcing Committee Meetings
• Assessment of suppliers and integration into the Approved Vendors List
• Coordination and clustering of purchase requirements and optimization of e-Procurement
• Self-reliant process optimization and reporting

• Master in Business Administration / Purchasing
• or Engineering degree with substantial experience in business administration / similar
• Profund experience in contract management
• Sophisticated negotiations skills and analytical skills
• Product and market knowledge of nuclear industry appreciated
• Strong communication and team skills
• Knowledge of special component purchasing / engineering appreciated
• Prominent presentation skills
• Well versed in Microsoft Office tools
• Professional Experience: >7 years, procurement experience: >5 years
