Vos missions

As our Bid Manager you will be responsible for managing the Framatome Ltd position in large bid process from the receipt of the RFQ to bid submission working closely with the business development, technical, procurement and legal functions.

Objectives:

Bid managers is responsible for the proposal of bids to existing or prospective clients for projects. To ensure the smooth running of the bid for a project within the correct time and financial parameters, and manage client relationships.

The bid manager is to ensures that all customer-specified milestones are met and all deliverables of the bid are produced as specified. 

  • This role is based in the Avonmouth (Bristol, UK).
  • For this role we are offering a salary of £55,000- £65,000 per annum plus benefits
  • 37.5 working hours per week.

 

The role of the Bid managers includes, but is not limited to, the following aspects:

 

  • Undertake a key role in all steps of the bidding process including completion of proposal documents and chair proposal review meetings.

     

  • Interpret the tender requirements and assign tasks to complete.

     

  • Liaise with customers for bid clarifications.

     

  • Liaise with employees in the company to provide information and costs for the bid.

     

  • Formulate costings and derive selling prices.

     

  • Formulate complete bid responses.

     

  • Visit customers for tender discussions and tender submissions meetings.

     

  • Follow up on tender submissions to get feedback.

     

  • Implement improvements in the bidding process, including information exchange, the use of templates etc.

     

  • Monitor the success of bids and provide reports.

 

Vous êtes

Requirements:

  • APMP certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, construction or relevant discipline
  • An understanding of technical documentation
  • Experienced Bid Writer
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commercially aware with an understanding of building up project costs and attributing sales margin.
  • An attention to detail to provide a bid the meets or exceeds customer expectation.
