International Project Manager F/H

The Fuel Business Unit (BU) of Framatome offers innovative safe fuels with high performance to worldwide utility customers. The BU scope includes the design, development, manufacturing and commercialization of fuel assemblies and the associated technologies.

Within the BU, the mission of the Contracts & Services – European platform is to manage the customer contracts signed with the European customers, with teams located in France and Germany.

Due to the development of its activities on the Eastern European market, the Fuel BU is looking for an experienced project manager, located in Lyon (France), to take in charge the execution of multi-year fuel assembly supply contracts.

He/She is responsible for the following:

·       Acting as Project and Contract manager for fuel assembly supply contracts with the target to deliver products in the expected safety, quality, schedule and cost. The concerned fuel assembly contracts are in the range of 30 to 200 M€ turnover

·       This includes the coordination of the internal team contributing to the project, the management of the interface to the customer, the management of the interface to the manufacturing plant and to the main supplier(s)

·       Managing the project schedule, with the support of the scheduling team

·       Managing the corresponding risks and opportunities

·       Applying the recommended project management methods, as part of the Operational Excellence initiative developed by Framatome

·       Reporting regularly the project progress to the stakeholders

·       Contributing to the offer team in charge to win additional contracts

·       Negotiating Variation Orders with the customers as needed

 Expected skills & experience

Engineeer degree (or equivalent)

At least 5 years of experience in a project management function, within an international and industrial environment

Experience in offer / contract negotiation, ideally in nuclear environment

Fluent in english ; German or slavic language skills would be appreciated

Leadership skills : team spirit, assertivity, autonomy, capacity to work in a complex international environment
