Project Planner

Due to our ongoing and rapid growth, we are looking to recruit a Project Planner for our project at Torness Power Station.

The Project Planner will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of our complex nuclear project.

Supporting and working alongside the Project Manager and project team, the Project Planner will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the project schedule. The Project Planner will also be collaborating closely with our suppliers, following up on the project progress as well as ensuring that our investment projects proceed as planned. 

Key responsibilities will include

• Project planning and creating a work breakdown structure
  Building up the project schedule and updates
  Interrogating construction schedules
  Project progress follow-up (with the core project team and suppliers)
  Delay analysis and proposing mitigation actions
  Depending on the experience level and planning performance, small project deliveries are possible

To be considered, we require the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline
• Strong project organisation skills with the ability to cooperate with multiple stakeholders
• Understanding of Project Management principles and techniques in the scheduling area, business focus and customer-centricity will help you excel in this role.
• Understanding and experience of Pet Master or similar
• Good knowledge in MS project

CTC Clearance is essential for this role

Candidates who do not hold this, must be willing and have the ability to obtain
