Framatome Inc. names vice president of customer accounts and government affairs

Framatome Inc. recently announced the appointment of Carl Fisher as vice president of customer accounts and government affairs in North America.

In this role, Fisher will be responsible for customer accounts in the Framatome Commercial Excellence organization, which includes customer relationship management, sales planning, order development and customer satisfaction in North America. He will report to Gary Mignogna, CEO of Framatome Inc.

Fisher, who has 26 years of domestic and international experience in the energy industry, has been with Framatome for 15 years. Most recently, he served as vice president within the Installed Base Business Unit before taking responsibility for the consolidated Products and Engineering Business Line in 2016. In this position, Fisher managed all aspects of operational business, including strategy planning and execution, new business development and deployment, safety, quality assurance, performance and delivery. He also led multiple new product development initiatives.

Fisher began his career serving six years in the United States Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, focusing on reactor operations and maintenance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University and earned his Master of Business Administration from Queens University of Charlotte. Fisher is a professional engineer, licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, and is a certified project management professional.
