Through this agreement, Framatome builds on its expertise within its Technical and Engineering Department, thus accelerating the development of its Burgundy Calculation Center. Inaugurated on March 6, 2023, the Burgundy Calculation Center is set to become a spearhead for mechanical calculations for the nuclear industry in France. This facility, which carries out technical analyses in support of EDF and other operators, is expecting 150 total staff members by 2024.

The SYSTUS software is used in the nuclear industry to support the justification of the integrity of primary and secondary components such as the reactor vessel and steam generator. It is also used in the design, manufacturing and maintenance phases of other industrial components such as valves.
