“At Framatome, we are helping to build the future nuclear energy workforce by supporting educational programs that focus on science, technology, engineering and math in Europe and around the world,” said Bernard Fontana, CEO of Framatome. “We know that today’s students are not only our future workforce, but they will be clean energy advocates who will solve tomorrow’s energy challenges. We are proud to work with Warsaw University of Technology to develop the next generation of nuclear energy professionals.”
This agreement establishes a joint framework for training nuclear energy professionals and implementing scientific projects. As a part of this work, Framatome will offer diploma internships that provide hands-on training and development for students in the Nuclear Power Engineering specialty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics Faculty at Warsaw University of Technology. The partners will also organize specialized scientific lectures related to nuclear technology for a wider audience, including students from other universities, research institutions and the general public.
This cooperation agreement builds on Framatome’s long collaborative tradition with the Polish scientific community, especially in research and nuclear education.
