As such, we have developed a Reactor Internals Asset Management approach that allows you to cost-effectively meet the challenges posed by the emergent baffle-to-former bolt (BFB) degradation issue.  

Proactively plan examination intervals, replacement patterns and outage duration — all to control costs. Our solution uses EDM (Electric Discharge Machining) to address broken bolt/shank removal and installation, as well as broken bolt/oversize threading and bolt installation.
