The Aeroball Measurement System (AMS) is an electro-mechanical, computer-controlled system to record a snapshot of the neutron flux distribution in the core. AMS continuously and accurately tracks core conditions, detects and diagnoses anomalies and most importantly, reduces radiation exposure for personnel.
