Containment Gas Monitoring
The Hydrogen Monitoring System (WS85) measures the local H2 concentrations at different locations in the containment during normal operation as well as after an accident. it is possible to continuously and simultaneously monitor the area and time distribution of H2 concentrations after an accident. The WS85 system can be installed in all types of reactors. The Multifunctional Containment Atmosphere Monitoring System (HERMETIS) operates in the conditions of core melt accidents. It provides all necessary information for the severe accident management (SAM) and emergency planning.
