Framatome Fatigue Monitoring System – as an essential part of the aging and lifetime management of power plant components – provides a comprehensive overview of components that are known to experience high level of thermo-mechanical fatigue. The Fatigue Monitoring System uses special measurement sections with thermocouples to detect thermal loads caused by stratification or plug flow. Alternatively, the application of thermo-hydraulic transfer functions is an option. In both cases, local transient load data are the basis for the fatigue assessment within a graded concept: Simplified Fatigue Estimation (SFE), Fast Fatigue Evaluation (FFE) and Detailed Fatigue Calculation (DFC).Product Sheet
