Framatome’s experience in reactor control with our Optimum Modular Core Control under Constraint (OMC3) products and our Operator Assistance Predictive System (OAPS) enable highly economical and flexible operation of the NPP within given operation limits. The NPP operator receives assistance from display information for mastering any dynamic situation of reactor operation, with prediction for all important process variables for the next 24 hours, with navigation proposing an optimum sequence of next control actions in real time, and with fast information update and assistance in case of planned or unplanned power change. The OAPS solution can be installed w/o replacing the I&C largely, and be flexibly adjusted to the core characteristics and power production economic targets.
