To seal leakages, or as a preventive measure, Framatome has developed the EP UW process. It was specially designed to meet the requirements for undrainable stainless steel pools and tanks in the nuclear industry. Regardless of the origin of the leak, the so-called “sandwich technology” is used to seal leakages with the epoxy adhesive.
