Framatome MULTIINSPECTION Facility (MIF) in combination with the existing Fuel Elevator for fresh fuel assemblies. Framatome’s Fuel Rod Examination Device and Analysis (FREDA) system was developed from technology proven in the determination of control rod wear (Framatome’s SCORE system). The ALFRED system was developed to compile individual non-destructive fuel rod inspections into one station.
