The SIEKA Valve Actuator offers a compact, lightweight, and robust solution for new and existing nuclear plants. With high torque output, it minimizes space and seismic demands. The unique two-speed planetary gearbox with automatic changeover (gear ratio 3:1) guaranties safe release from the end position even under the most unfavourable conditions (undervoltage, thermal influences, jamming, etc.) Versatile and easy to install, it’s suitable for various valve types. Retrofits are possible especially when the original manufacturer is unavailable. Additional benefits include easy installation without the need for separate actuator support (ISO 5210), reduced space and seismic demands, and an extended service life of up to 60 years, with KTA 3504 and IEEE 382-2006 qualifications.
