ENHANCED MULTIINSPECTION FACILITY (eMIF) is an enhanced system that is used for a wide range of Fuel Assembly related tasks. The eMIF integrates Inspection, Measurement, Sipping, and FA-Repair into one modular system which reduces installation and maintenance costs. The modularity of the eMIF also increases the amount of available space in the fuel pool, as all different modules are stored outside. The product is suitable for new build NPPs (EPR II, SMR, and VVER) and for already existing NPPs the fuel elevator can be replaced by the technology carrier. The carriage system of the eMIF can also accommodate the required measuring devices or camera systems and position them on the FA.
