Personal Dose Reduction and Dosimetry according to ALARA Principle for safety in operation

Radioactivity is present at plants, from fuels and from activation and corrosion products flowing in primary water. Operators are facing a key issue to reduce dosing following ALARA principles while plants are aging. Framatome proposes cobalt (major element part of radioactivity) reduction strategies or Component and System Chemical Decontamination(DZO) application for dose reduction. We also propose virtual reality radioactive dose simulation and solutions for planification and dose reduction.
