The Framatome electrical protection system covers the requirements for safe and reliable operation of the EDG. It complements the mechanical protection and provides a comprehensive overage of the operational and safety requirements both during test runs and emergency operation. The modular setup provides a standardized design, which can be complemented with optional customer specific functions on demand.
