Framatome’s ATHENA (Adaptive Tool for High-End Neutron fluence Analysis) connects core design calculations and detailed MCNP (Monte-Carlo N-Particle) models independent of reactor and fuel type. ATHENA can forecast fluence trends and optimize core loading strategy and shielding measures.
