Burgundy Calculations Training Center

A3239

The Centre Calculs Bourgogne trains mechanical calculation engineers for the nuclear industry.
Our trainers are specialized engineers or technical experts who share their experience and knowledge through theoretical modules, practical work and visits to our manufacturing workshops in Saint-Marcel.
Our training takes place at the Framatome site in Saint-Marcel, at the foot of the factory where the primary components of nuclear power plants are manufactured. The different modules offered revolve around three pillars of the calculation engineer profession: regulation, mechanics, and software.

The upcoming sessions (only held in person at the Saint Marcel site in France.)

January 26–29: Code_Aster
“Learn how to perform mechanical and thermo-mechanical analyses with Code_Aster and Salome_Meca, from geometry creation to post-processing.”

February 3–5: Python
“Get started with Python to automate your calculations, analyze data, and create scripts tailored to mechanical testing.”

February 17–19: SYSTUS
“Master finite element calculations in mechanics, thermal, and thermo-mechanics with SYSTUS, from pre-processing to post-processing.”

March 3–5: Fracture Mechanics
“Deepen your knowledge of failure modes and learn how to perform stability, initiation, and defect propagation analyses.”

March 9–11: Tooling and Handling Equipment Design
“Discover normative standards and learn how to justify the mechanical strength of tooling and handling equipment.”

March 16–19: Mechanical Fatigue
“Learn how to justify components against fatigue cracking risks and optimize usage factors.”
