March 18, 2022 – Framatome announced its Engineer of the Year as part of the annual celebration of national Engineers Week in America. These awards honor employees who achieved engineering excellence and were “Reimagining the Possible” through notable accomplishments in their profession and innovative solutions for the nuclear energy industry.
“These annual awards recognize Framatome employees who demonstrate their commitment to operational excellence and develop comprehensive solutions that provide value to our customers,” said Gary Mignogna, president and CEO of Framatome in North America. “The expertise of our engineers and entire workforce, along with their creative thinking and innovation, continue to advance our industry and provide a bright future for nuclear energy.”
Brandon Holden was selected as Framatome’s 2022 North America Engineer of the Year thanks to his demonstrated operational excellence throughout 2021. He was instrumental in designing and implementing competitive designs and solutions that improve the economics and performance of the nuclear energy industry.
During Engineers Week, Framatome also recognized Engineers of the Year in each of its business units. This year’s recipients include:

Framatome recognized its engineers as part of Engineers Week, which took place February 20 26, with the theme “Reimagining the Possible.” Candidates for the Framatome North America Engineer of the Year award are nominated by their peers. Business leaders and senior executives select finalists and the Engineer of the Year. Nominees are evaluated based on their contributions to their business unit during the year and how well they exemplify operational excellence through their commitment to safety, quality, performance, delivery, innovation and community involvement.
