May 24, 2022 – Framatome spotlights the ingenuity of its people during its annual Innovation Week celebrations held May 16-20. Employees from around the world came together to honor innovations that drive the future of the nuclear industry forward, while unleashing their own innovative power through various programs, webinars, master classes, contests and awards.

Innovation Week serves as an opportunity for Framatome’s expert teams to showcase their innovations that better serve their global customers and external partners. Robotics took center stage during the celebrations featuring a robotic assisted handling system for waste management applications and an agile mobile robot that provides radiological measurements and documentation required for clearance to nuclear power plants.
Other notable innovations from Framatome highlighted during Innovation Week included digital solutions and artificial intelligence used to optimize fuel load and reduce uranium utilization by up to 3% and new solutions in the field of cyber security to reinforce the safety of customers’ assets. This year’s event also allowed teams to engage with each other to demonstrate how they successfully perform innovations and create new value propositions.
