We carry out complex fabrication projects in our workshops, specializing in boiler making and the production of mechanically welded equipment of all sizes, drawing on our expertise in high-quality welding. Our teams deliver a fully integrated offering, managing industrial projects from engineering and design through to on-site assembly and maintenance operations.

Framatome Arc has recently delivered the Main Control Room structures and the In-Containment Refueling Water System Tanks (IRWST) for the EPR reactors at Flamanville 3 and Hinkley Point C (United Kingdom).

Framatome Arc’s headquarters, engineering teams, and main manufacturing workshops are located in Beaumont-Hague, in the Manche department, in close proximity to major nuclear industry players such as EDF and Orano, as well as the defense naval sector with the Cherbourg base of Naval Group.

Framatome Arc also operates a site in Frans, near Lyon, which is particularly well-suited for the fabrication of large-scale components, with over 5,000 m² of workshop space.

Our 300 employees possess a recognized expertise in the design and manufacture of mechanically welded components and complex piping systems. With stringent requirements in terms of Safety, Quality, and Lead Time, they also hold top-tier certifications in boiler making and welding. Our teams have extensive experience working with metals and alloys and are qualified for several hundred welding procedures.

Skill development is a priority for Framatome Arc, which ensures the renewal of certifications and the maintenance of its teams’ qualifications. Framatome Arc is fully committed to supporting its clients and partners as they face their industrial challenges. These include the construction of new EPR2 nuclear power plants, the long-term operation of the La Hague used nuclear fuel reprocessing plant, and the manufacturing of future vessels and submarines for the defense naval sector.
