Project Procurement Manager F/H

Missions: 

Your responsibilities:

In connection with the project manager, you are responsible for the following activities:

• Define and develop your project sourcing strategy

•  Lead vendor panel review and approved vendor selection for your project

• Coordinate buyer and shipper activities for your project

• Prepare budgets (workload and hardware) and ensure they are maintained

• Monitor to ensure the maintenance of quality objectives, costs and deadlines of orders and as such frame the contractual and operational monitoring of buyers/ project purchase manager using tools validated by the project

• Be directly involved in sensitive negotiations (critical suppliers or difficulties in achieving performance) and on orders that fail in execution

• Manage and analyze risks and opportunities and monitor to ensure the implementation of security measures

• Create and update the project procurement plan and ensure compliance

• Ensure the reliability of the various information reported on the scope (progress, indicators, recommendation note, amendment, cash, early warnings, complaints, preparation of shipments etc.)

• Ensure proper implementation of gate reviews (go/no go milestones) at key stages of the order to mitigate risk on purchase orders

• Lead claims resolution and order close files

• Ensure compliance with the supply chain process and project procedures

Many trips abroad are to be expected

You are : 

Required level

• Master with specialization in Supply Chain if possible

• Minimum 10 years experience in technical or project procurement

• Contractual knowledge

• Fluency in English

• Team management and cross-functional leadership experience

• Experience in a large heavy industry project

• Experienced Generalist Mechanical Engineer

• APICS certification or any other equivalent certification would be a plus.
